Yes, there are stores in the downtown area, aka community lots. You can do this without any expansions at all. Call a taxi and when it arrives you will have a list of all community lots available to visit in your neighborhood.

Doggie clothes / shoes?

I have a teacup chihuahua that I got for valentine’s day. She’s absolutely adorable but she doesn’t have much fur. And its very cold out. She’s outdoor trained, so I take her out on a leash to go to the potty, but she shivers and tries to curl up the whole way. I planned on making her a little wrap out of fleece, like horses wear that just lays over the back and straps under the belly. However, I’m curious if I should buy her actual little clothes / sweaters. Or maybe some doggie shoes so that her feet aren’t touching cold ground. I’ve never owned a tiny dog before and need some advice on this kind of care. Is it a better idea to get her a tiny sweater and shoes? If so, where would I go to get that? The pet store around here doesn’t have tiny doggie shoes or clothes. Their stuff is mostly for bigger dogs. Or would the shoes be a burden on her? Would she be alright in the cold with just a sweater or a little fleece wrap? :( I don’t like seeing her shiver. Any advice?

admin answers:

Chihuahua’s are used to being warm so buying her some clothes to keep her warm in the winter isn’t a bad idea at all!
Also the salt they use for the roads and sidewalks isn’t good for their paws so putting little boots on them while their out can protect them.

Ive used all of these before. Hope it helps!

What should I wear to my interview?

I have a job interview at the mall for a pet store (Pet Fair) and I’m not sure exactly what I should be wearing. Should I wear clothes that are not exactly casual but not too fancy like a pair of jeans and a collared shirt?

admin answers:

Casual Trousers and a Collard Shirt.

NEVER wear Jeans to an interview, you will NOT be taken seriously. Once you get the job you can see what other people are wearing.

How to stop a kitten from suckling?

My kitten is about 13 weeks old I got him from a pet store, apparently he was taken away from him mom too early and he sucks on my clothes as if he was sucking his moms nipple for milk, when he lays on me. He does it to my boyfriend and blankets laying around. He eats hard food thou. How can I get him to stop?

admin answers:

You are on the right track, this behavior is often referred to as wool-sucking, and occurs when kittens are weaned too early. A useful webpage article I have linked below says this:

“Wool sucking usually fades over time as the kitten develops other interests. For those kittens whose wool sucking has apparently faded into oblivion, however, vague memories of this behavior may persist throughout life, and in moments of stress or conflict, it may resurface as a comfort behavior. In some cases, it may assume compulsive proportions. In other cats, wool sucking doesn’t resurface, possibly because serious conflict does not arise. Wool sucking is usually not a problem, “especially if the behavior remains at the ‘wool sucking only’ stage”, says Dr. Dodman. Some cats, however, progress to actually eating the non-nutritional materials, predisposing the cat to potentially serious problems such as gastrointestinal obstructions. ”

It is related to (but not the same as) another condition called PICA, which is a habit where some cats like to chew on and eat inedible things. This can be dangerous if the cat ingests things that can cause problems in their digestive tract, or if they chew on harmful things, such as electrical wires. You should observe your kitten carefully and if he shows signs of trying to eat strange things, such as pieces of plastic wrappers, grocery sacks, bread ties, or any other small objects that tend to end up on the floor, you should take the time to remove all things that he shows interest in chewing on, if possible. I have a cat that likes to chew on and eat small pieces of plastic wrappers, even the tiniest of things that will inadvertently land on the floor when opening a package (such as in the kitchen), so I have taught myself to be extra careful to not let stuff like that end up anywhere he can get to it.

Good luck, I hope this helps =^.^=
