Chris asks…

Best pet-hair remover for clothes?

I have a dog (mainly white hair) and a cat (black-haired) so my clothes are constantly covered with their hair! It’s annoying, because even when they come right out of the dryer after being washed, they still have hair on them. What is the best lint roller or other remover you have used to take pet hair off of your clothes? Thanks!

admin answers:

I have 3 golden retrievers – so I know all about hair!

I just use those sticky roller things – but we have them all over the house. I keep one on a shelf in the garage, so we can all roller off before we get in the car for work. They work well, are cheap, and you can keep them everywhere!

Thomas asks…

What is a good way to take lint and pet hair off your clothes and couch?

I have cats and I also have a microfiber couch. Thanks!

admin answers:

I too have cats and they are walking balls of shedding hair but I can’t live without them so a hairy clothes and furniture it is!! I have found a great little tool it looks like a hand held squeegee you know for cleaning glass and has a plastic edge on it and you run it over the fur covered areas and voila the hair balls up and you can pick it of and throw it in the garbage!(If this helps the handle is yellow and the softer plastic edge is grey) I got it at Wal-mart in the pet section, it works great. I find the tape roller’s work best for clothing and before I vacuum I spray a bit of Static Guard on the carpet or furniture and the hair comes of easier than having to repeatedly drag the noisy( in the fleeing cats opinions) over the same patch of carpet again and again! Also a damp sponge will do in a pinch, to get hair off the sofa. I would say that the little squeegee tool on microfiber would be the easiest and safest for your furniture! Hope this helped!
