It could be low-rise jeans, baggy jeans, bad combinations of clothes, wearing the same clothes everyday. Haha, I am really curious to hear from women about this. What fashion no-nos do you see by guys?

Joseph asks…

how do I get smoke odors and pet smells out of clothes?

I got some clothes that smell heavily of cigarette smoke and wet dog. I have tried just about everything to get the smell out and nothing I have tried works. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

admin answers:

Use this stuff called Approach. You can get it online at www.approachit.net It’s awesome stuff. When my girlfriend came to meet my family, she walked in smelling of cigarette smoke thanks to her chimney of a mother. My brother and I took my girlfriend aside, held her by her arms and sprayed her head to toe, and the smokey smell was completely gone. I use it now on my bedspread after my dog’s spent a few nights sleeping on it.

Spray until the odor goes away. It’s natural, safe and water-based so spray it on whatever you can spray water on.

Good luck!

John asks…

How do I get pet hair to come off my clothes in the wash?

I have a gorgeous golden lab who’s hair gets everywhere. I find it never comes out in the wash, especially on black clothes, any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

admin answers:

Live with 2 big time shedders, and the malamute can really shed and it is long and seems to work its way inside our clothes. The best thing that I have found is to brush the dog on a regular basis to minimize some hair. When doing laundry, shake out the garments before washing. The dryer also works great for getting out hair. If there is still hair on the clothes after drying, lower the heat to the lowest temp and run through the dryer again. When you have clothes on and there is hair on them, put on a dry rubber textured dish washing glove and swipe your hand over the area that has hair. Works each time, especially on the furniture. I periodically run the couch pillows through the dryer to get hair out of them

Ken asks…

Research about pet clothes industries?

I was just wondering if you guys have seen any papers or researches on the internet about the industry of dog clothes, maybe a successful case?

admin answers:

What sort of ‘case’?

I imagine there is a big market in some parts of the world, for pet clothing. Thankfully in the main in the UK, although we do have coats for short haired/thin skin breeds such as Greyhounds and Whippets etc., most don’t dress up their dogs. But it does happen, sadly.

David asks…

How do i get rid of pet urine stains on my clothes ?

I just found out that my dog or cat peed on my favorite sweater. I have no clue how long its been like that. any suggestions, i’ve already tried so many cleaners.

admin answers:

Get a product called “OUT!” in any pet aisle. It will remove the stain and odor. It is also great for vomit, blood, and feces(human and animal).

Good Luck! ;)

Ruth asks…

Where is the best online placce to get reasonably priced dog clothes?

I don’t like ebay because they will be selling a $5 sweater with $6 shipping.

admin answers:

Some people post dog clothes adds here. Http://www.craigslist.org/about/cities.html Check your local city’s pet section, if they don’t have any adds for dog clothes you can post one. I’m sure someone will contact you.

Michael asks…

Do you dress your dog in clothes?

If you do please stop. I have a phobia of seeing dogs dressed in people clothes that causes serious anxiety. Thank you.

admin answers:

Ugh, i agree 100% with you.
I dont have a phobia, but it upsets me. And i do not dress my dog in clothes, EVER.
Especially when people say “my doggy WANTS it! She begs me!”
no yr dog doesnt. The outfits cant be very comfortable.
If dogs were meant to wear clothes, theyd be born without fur to keep them warm and protected.

Daniel asks…

how do I get my dog to stop eating clothes?

My dog eats towels, clothes, blankets, basically anything cloth. Why does she do it & how do I get her to stop? I’m afraid she’ll get bound-up & need surgery.

admin answers:

She is chewing on them because she is bored and they smell of you. You need to exercise her more….give her a job. Time spent in the backyard by herself is not exercise, it is potty time. Walk her, go jogging with her, play ball with her, or frisbee. And keep your clothing and towels picked up and stored properly in a laundry hamper with a lid. If there are articles of clothing available for her to chew, this is your fault, not hers. Remove the ability to do this and you will go a long way to protecting your dog,
